A most excellent song. "Welcome to My Life" by Simple Plan. As much as I love country, I really identify with that song. And it has relevance to my situation.
I am seriously injury-prone. I hurt myself at volleyball practice. Again. I can't even make it through one season without an injury!! We were working on diving, and my traitorous feet got caught up in one another, and I landed awkwardly on my left wrist. It's still usable, but it does hurt if I twist my hand the wrong way.
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life
